Not so Stealthy.....

This morning of the farm...
Clemie and Topaz decided they would be herd animals. I mean they are aussies for crying out loud they were just doing what they thought was the right thing to do...... Except I had let the donkeys out on purpose to graze. The dogs kept running them back to the pasture for me. They couldn't for the life of them understand why I hollered at them and let the donkeys back out. So in the attempt to be stealthy (I'm sure Clemie and Topaz talked before attempting the task again) they waited until I had been in the house for a little while. Surely I wouldn't catch them this time NOT. I was sitting here at my computer and happened to look out my window. My stealthy dogs were once again chasing err I mean herding the donkeys around. Out the back door I went after those 2 terrors Um I mean sweet helpful dogs and yelled once again. Poor Maggie (the donkey) had, had enough. She went back to her pen and refused to come out and mow for me. So much for saving gas by letting the donkeys graze.
I think I'll try the horses next time. They tend to ignore the dogs and they eat more. The down fall to that brilliant idea is they use the carport as a barn even if there are cars in it. Hmm maybe I don't want Takoda eating my new car (like she did to the golf car). Oh well guess I'll get the mower out.
