Top Texas Aussies

We will soon hear the patter of little aussie feet around the farm. Topaz our blue merle female is expecting a litter of puppies soon. It's been some time since we had pups so it will be nice to have them around. I can't wait to see what colors we end up with and what sexes there will be. It's always a color surprise when you breed a merle. Hmm wonder if we will get blue merles or red merles red tris or black tris? 

I am looking forward to watching their eyes open ever so slowly and am also looking forward to their happy faces when they see me. I'll have to get out my old jeans and boots as well so that they can sink their sharp little teeth into them and not new ones. It's amazing how very sharp those baby teeth are!

I know all the Mamma dogs here will be happy to have them around as well. Valentine and Clemetine love being mama's more then anything. Cash (our lab) will have a blast playing chase the tail (his tail) with the pups. I have seen them grab his tail and then watched as he wagged it as hard as he could and puppies went flying every where. What fun (or at least it looks like fun).
